Learn to Make Natural Perfume in Brittany
Get your creative juices flowing and learn to compose your own natural fragrance with guidance from an American perfumer trained in France.
In this 3-hour workshop held at a seventeenth-century mansion in the historic city center of Rennes, Amanda will take you on a scented journey through the ages, drawing inspiration from the Slow Scent® teaching method developed by Mandy Aftel.
The session begins with an introduction to perfume history and a presentation of aromatic plant extraction methods. Next, you’ll explore a palette of 100% natural top notes, middle notes, and base notes, from which you’ll choose your favorite ingredients to formulate a structured perfume. It just may become your signature scent. The 100% plant-based eau de parfum you make will be yours to keep, and you’ll know exactly what’s in the formula so you can make refills on your own. You can choose one of two refillable sizes: 15 ml (standard) or 30 ml (VIP). Beverages and treats are included in the experience, which is open to adults and teenagers over 15. The instructor speaks French and English. L’animatrice parle français et anglais. RENNES • LA GACILLY • WESTERN FRANCE |
